The NEXT cable generation for data centers
The high-performance cables with parallel pairs are designed for differential I/O connections for servers, routers, switches, data storage and other applications that require high data transmission up to 25 Gb/s per channel, such as IEEE CX4 Infiniband.
The cables are available in various jacket materials e.g. flame retardant and halogen-free and in different constructions:
- AWG sizes 24 to 32
- Pair number 1 to 24
- Hybrid solutions
- Guarantees swept performance up to 26 GHz
- Impedance: 100 Ohm
The ParaLink® 25s cable paves the way for future data center 56 Gbit/s technology via copper.
With an additional skin over each pair, the electrical performance is improved leading to a 20% better attenuation compared to ParaLink 23. Longer transmission paths with the same wire gauge or thinner wire gauges for the same transmission paths can be realized.

The ParaLink® 23 cable is specially designed for high frequency and data applications.
With its unique dual drain wire design and longitudinal pair shielding it offers outstanding electrical performance required for next generation I/O standards, like IEEE 802.3ba 100Gb Ethernet and Infiniband EDR standard.
